WHAT WE DO

We’ve built a skilled and experienced team of fully SCDOT-certified inspectors, qualified in every phase of roadway and bridge construction, from initial site clearing and the implementation of best management practices for stormwater and erosion control, to final placement of hot mix asphalt and bridge deck completion.

WFA has a long-standing history of providing Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) inspection services, as well as certified lab technicians, on a wide range of SCDOT projects. Our experience includes work with CRM East, the York County Pennies for Progress sales tax program, and QC representation for contractors on multiple bridge construction projects.

OUR PROCESSES & TOOLS

WFA inspectors are highly experienced in using SCDOT’s ProjectWise and SiteManager software, accessed through the VMWare server environment. Our team is proficient in generating Daily Work Reports, documenting contractor activity, recording material sampling and certifications, and managing pay item quantities and estimates.

We are well-versed in all required SCDOT construction documentation, including contractor wage compliance forms, concrete and earthwork testing reports, drilled shaft and driven pile records, and asphalt rate reports. In addition, our inspectors are experienced with preparing AS-1 spreadsheets for fuel adjustments and compiling final project As-Built documentation, as required by SCDOT standards.
